On 26 and 27 May 2008, DIRK - Deutscher Investor Relations Verband, the German Investor Relations Association, will hold its 11th Annual conference in The Westin Grand Hotel (formerly ArabellaSheraton Hotel) in Frankfurt. According to the motto

“Corporate Culture with no Value(s)? -
Investor Relations between Return and Responsibility”

this unique event across Germany in the field of financial communications offers information at the highest stage on current IR topics and trends.

In 2008, IR managers, analysts, service providers and journalists from many countries will again use this platform for an intensive dialogue with colleagues. As special highlights of the 11th conference, Dr. Eckhard Cordes, CEO Metro AG, and Dr. Paul Achleitner, CFO Allianz SE, have already agreed to participate as keynote speakers. In addition, the conference offers 30 workshops in German and English with top-class representatives from economy and finance. An extensive IR services showcase will complete the conference’s program. For this reason, the DIRK conference is the trade-meeting of IR professionals in Germany.

Within the festive gala dinner at the “Palais im Zoo” on the first evening of the conference, the “German Investor Relations Award 2008” will be presented by WirtschaftsWoche in the categories DAX30, MDAX, SDAX, TecDAX as well as the best IR managers. The award is evaluated by Thomson Reuters Extel Survey, the only provider of pan-European ratings and rankings of investor relations teams.

DIRK - German Investor Relations Association e.V. has hosted its annual conference every spring since 1998. Over the course of time, this has become a unique platform for dialogue between IR specialists, service providers, analysts and journalists.
