The enactment of the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act transformed the corporate atmosphere in 2010, two years after the peak of the financial crisis. Some laude it, some loathe it, others still have mixed reactions, but one thing is indisputable: Dodd-Frank has reinvented investor-board discourse.
